My 9 (almost 10) year old daughter does not have any good friends in her grade. There is a girl a grade younger than her that she is friends with and she hangs out casually with a couple of the boys in her grade but spends recess and lunch alone. She is not shy, the other girls just dont seem to like her. It's taking a big hit on her self esteem. She told me she feels sad and angry a lot. I never had many friends as a kid and know how that feels and my heart just breaks for her. I dont really know what to do. I just dont want her to feel worthless or unworthy of friendship.
