Board Game Meltdowns

I feel like everytime I try and play a board game with my kids it descends into chaos. It doesn't seem to matter what the game is.....from Jenga to Pass the Pigs to counter based board games. My youngest (5) will cry if he isn't winning. My eldest (8) gets really obnoxious if he is doing well. I can play a board game with each of them separately, which is fine. As soon as both of them are involved it is totally hateful. It makes me feel like a total failure. I don't even know why it provokes such a strong reaction in me. I think I have a fantasy in my mind of a nice, loving family settling down for wholesome fun round the kitchen table. Instead it's armageddon all round. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3CRbP3l
