If momma ain't happy....

(24F & 29M) Our daughter (3) has had recurring sleep issues for the past year and a half and it's getting to the point where sleep is becoming impossible. Our daughter is very attached to her mother and goes to her for everything. Even when waking in the middle of the night (we share a room and she cant have her own room as of yet), she will start crying and run immediately to my wife. My wife will then get up and lay her back down, patting her to sleep. However my wife falls asleep there and isn't getting quality sleep as it's in 30 minute to an hour an half spans. She wants me to help more at night and I have no issue with this. However I am a heavy sleeper, my wife says it's due to my marijuana intake, and can't wake up at night. Without the marijuana I am a light sleeper but only because I'm not truly asleep. I've asked her to wake me when our daughter wakes her, as that will be inevitable, but she says she can't and doesn't want to have to wake me. HELP! We don't know what to do at this point. My wife doesn't want to use melatonin to help her sleep, if that is anyone's suggestion, I am for using it.TLDR; Daughter keeps waking up mommy at night, so now mommy wants to kill daddy. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3kgEgiB
