Sex talk

My daughter is at the age where we need to sit down and talk about the birds and the bees (she is 11, her friends know and I don’t want her to learn from them). Up until now we have given her a fair amount of details about how specific organs work - but danced around the penetration part (because that’s really opening Pandora’s box).Looking for a book recommendation that we can read with her that includes menstruation, sex, birth control, lgbtq, masturbation, consent, etc.I feel like I will be really breaking her innocence- but feel like while we are on the topic I have to talk about sexual abuse and what is appropriate, who it’s appropriate with, etc.I figured a book with pictures and structure will help us give a full explanation and make sure we don’t miss anything and keep this as down to the facts as we can to keep the embarrassment level down.Any recommendations? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3CHmVYr
