Society makes mefeel like I need to own a home. But I don’t see the need…. Crazy?

Looking for general advice…..When Covid started I (30M) went full remote with work. My parents said I should move back in with them. So I canceled my apartment lease and moved back in with my folks. They are retired in another state.I’ve been with them for about 12 of the 18 months since Covid started. The other 6 months I’ve spent at random Airbnb’s with my GF. She also moved back in with her folks as well for “work from home”. We are both relatively cheap people. But yea… my GF (27F) of about 3yrs and I aren’t looking to get married anytime soon. She is in no hurry to make any serious commitment. My parents enjoy having me around to hangout and help out on random things.I feel like I’m coasting or on pause …. Seeing friends getting married, having babies, buying houses…. For some reason I don’t feel a need to “keep up” with them…. I’m pretty content. Society is making me feel like I should move out and get my own place… don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t mind being more independent… but chilling with my folks and no responsibilities is pretty awesome.Should I stop splitting time bumming at my parents house and being a nomad (random trips) with my GF? Or keep it rolling?Couple notes: - my parents came to this country from oversees and really value family. Not the “get out the house when you turn 18” type. More of the “move your wife and kids into our house” type… - I’m comfy financially… if needed I could go rent or put a down payment on a house. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3zarDff
