Daughter getting bullied in school

I don’t know if this belongs here? Please excuse me if it doesn’t. Today my daughter, 9 yrs old and in the 4th grade, told me that she’s been dealing with bullying by her class mates and there’s this girl in particular that is the meanest out of all the other kids. She said that she calls her a btch and other bad words. When my daughter tries to say something, the other girl replies with “shut up, btch” I already notified her teacher about it, the teacher said she will look into it. I really hope this can be solved, as I don’t want my daughter to be afraid of some other kid at her school. I know that the bully is just a kid, but it really pisses me off, just the thought of someone talking like that to my daughter, now, I asked my daughter if she started anything with this girl and she said she didn’t, the girl is just mean. Some kids suck so much! I want my daughter to be able to stand up to this bully, but I don’t even know how to help her do that! I was bullied myself and I know just how much it can mess your self esteem and mind and I don’t want that for my child. Any advice is welcomed, thanks! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/31gu0kq
