Sorry if this is common sense to you guys, I told my friend this as advice with her toddler and she loved it. So I have 2 toddlers, a two year old and a one year old. There are times where they're constantly throwing a fit and seemingly doing everything to be difficult. If I see it is just escalating and they are just done I put them in their crib give them a few of their favorite toys and give them alone time. This is not a punishment or timeout, just like adults sometimes toddlers just need a few minutes to themselves to relax. This is what happened with my 2 year old when she came home from my mother in laws house. She was throwint stuff and screaming/ crying. As soon as she saw we were going to her room she stopped crying. I put her in her crib and put toys in there and she just was playing with them. I could hear her talking/ singing to herself while playing with the toys then after 5 minutes or so I went to her room and asked if she wanted me to take her out of her crib and she did. She was happy and refreshed for the rest of the night. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3Evpk99
