8 yo daughter wetting herself during the day

So my 8 yo daughter has been wetting herself during the day the past year or so. When asking her why, she says that she does it so she doesn’t have to go to the bathroom when she is doing an activity at school she likes or playing with her friends. She just pees herself and continues her day. She doesn’t have a bed wetting problem at night. This is a strictly daytime thing. She is also perfectly healthy and happy otherwise. We have talked about it a lot with her but are at a loss. I don’t want to go the shaming route or punish/take away toys or privileges but we are don’t know how else to proceed.
