Hello Everyone,My daughter is 4 and has autism. As far as I know from her developmental ped she’s a level 2. Since her diagnoses at 2 she’s been potty trained ( about 90% of the time) and within the last month she’s starting to say certain words in the right context - even some phrases like “ let’s go” “ go away” etc.. my question is I see a lot of people post about their child who has autism only having the mentality of a “ 11 year old” or “3 year old” as an adult. Is this the case with all children with autism? My know my daughter is young but I have anxiety about what her future looks like. How will I know if she’ll only have the mentality of a child when she’s an adult?Sorry if I worded this wrong. I had a tough night with her and of course my mind starts to spiral. Thanks to anyone who replies. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3lspKTu
