My toddler hits her head seemingly once every few days. Any pediatricians with opinions?

Hello everyone,My toddler is pretty steady on her feet but stumbles sometimes and inevitably hits her head somewhere. Most of the time, I can hear her big falls due to the wooden construction of our unit. Sometimes it's very loud and I imagine it's quite a big fall. She already had a freak accident once and cracked her skull once when she was ~9 months. There's not much to talk about that since we had scans and a pediatric neurologist give consultation for that, but it's for context.I know that follow up head injuries to an already injured brain is worse and compounds the injury. I'm not sure her brain has been damaged in her falls and furthermore, I'm not sure if she's had time to heal in between each fall.It drives me fucking crazy when she hits her head and I feel so angry at myself for not preventing it. I even bought a helmet but it doesn't fit yet.Any pediatricians here with opinions on this? Obviously she seems fine afterwards or I would be bringing her to the doctors but head injuries are tricky and may present themselves in subtle ways I can't catch. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/36oGAOs
